How do you reset the anti theft system on a 2006 Honda Civic? ›

To reset the anti-theft in the 2006 Honda Civic depress the fob's panic or unlock button, to switch the alarm off. Alternatively, insert the key into the driver's door to unlock and reset the immobilizer. You can also try pressing the panic button for 5 seconds followed by depressing the lock button 2 times.

In order to operate, your ABS system needs electricity. This is controlled by the anti-lock fuses and relay. The first fuse (a 10 amp fuse) must be good in order for electricity to flow to the relay, and the relay must function to provide power to the second fuse (a 30 amp fuse).

Put the key in the ignition and rotate forward two clicks to the “On” position that makes the dashboard light up, but don't try starting the car.
