OF SUMMER, EVERYONE. IT IS OFFICIALLY HERE, AND WE CONTINUE TO TRACK THE TROPICS. TROPICAL STORM ALBERTO WILL MAKE LANDFALL IN MEXICO A LITTLE BIT LATER ON THIS MORNING. AND THEN WE’RE KEEPING AN EYE ON OUR NEXT SYSTEM THAT IS JUST SOUTH NEAR THE YUCATAN PENINSULA. EXPECTED TO FORM HERE BY TOMORROW. MOVING WEST NORTHWEST WITH A 50% CHANCE THAT’S GOING TO DEVELOP FURTHER IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. ANOTHER SYSTEM WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING NOW AS A 30% CHANCE OF MOVING TO THE WEST NORTHWEST. THIS IS ABOUT 250 MILES FROM THE BAHAMAS. AND YES, THIS IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TOWARD FLORIDA, GEORGIA. IF IT IS ALLOWED TO STAY ALIVE AND TO GROW. IT’S GOT A LOT OF DRY AIR. HOWEVER, IT’S ALSO OVER VERY WARM WATER. HEY, THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE, COUPLED WITH A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE, BOTH HAVE AIR MOVING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS, SO IT’S CREATED A WIND TUNNEL AND THAT’S ALREADY GIVING US SOME WIND GUSTS ALONG SOUTH AND NORTH CAROLINA’S COAST AND GEORGIA AS WELL. BY THE WAY, SOME OF THOSE WIND GUSTS HAVE GIVEN US A SMALL CRAFTED ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY. IF YOU ARE HEADING TO THE BEACH THIS WEEKEND, JUST KNOW THE RIP CURRENT DANGER IS ALSO HIGH AS A RESULT OF THOSE SYSTEMS OUT TO THE EAST. HEY, BY THE WAY, THAT AREA OF LOW PRESSURE BRINGING SOME WIND AND RAIN TO THE COAST OF FLORIDA AND GEORGIA, EVEN AS WE SPEAK HERE AT HOME, WE WOULD LOVE RAIN, BUT WE’RE JUST NOT GOING TO GET ANY. NOT TODAY. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES TO KICK OFF THE FIRST DAY OF THE SUMMER SEASON. HIGHS GOING BACK IN THE MID AND UPPER 80S DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE. STARTING TOMORROW, WE’LL START TO TURN THE HEAT UP A LITTLE BIT. ABOUT 90 DEGREES WILL BE THE HIGH AND THEN AS WE GO INTO SATURDAY, HERE’S SOME GOOD NEWS. AS THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY CREASES INCREASES, SO WILL OUR CHANCE FOR A FEW OF THOSE ISOLATED SHOWERS. AGAIN, NOT EVERYBODY GETS WET, BUT WE’LL SEE A FEW OF THOSE SATURDAY. WE’LL SEE A COUPLE MORE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND EVEN INTO MONDAY AS WELL. SO AT LEAST SOME OF US WILL GET A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN. BUT AGAIN, THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE WIDESPREAD SOAKING RAIN. I AM SEEING RAIN CHANCES, BETTER RAIN CHANCES AS WE GET TOWARD THE END OF NEXT WEEK, POSSIBLY NEXT THURSDAY. WE SHALL SEE. IN THE MEANTIME, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE TEMPERATURES UPPER 80S LOW 90S. HERE ARE THOSE ISOLATED SHOWERS POSSIBLE SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, MAYBE LATE WEDNESDAY AHEAD OF SOME OF THA
