All run well. Descriptions are of body and interior.
2004 Honda Odyssey 124,000mi. (Fair to good)
2010 Hyundai Elantra 127,000mi. (Fair to good)
2008 Hyundai Elantra 87,500mi. (Good to excellent).
We want to replace them all with a medium SUV.
Trade in? Car Max? Donate? I really don’t wanna sell them myself.
I appreciate any advice or recommendations.
Thanks in advance.
Go Big Blue!!
taking them to CarMax and taking what they offer or donating would seem to be your two options.
They gave me more than the dealer was willing to on trade-in.
Net it’s your tax rate x the deduction. Trade in the best one against your new car and “Carmax” the others. And lots of dealers are looking fo used cars. The market is good. Look around.

Also the rules are much stricter than they used be. A while back you could claim blue book value as a deduction. Now you can only claim what the charity sells the car for at auction (which is what usually happens). The auction sale is usually peanuts. A few charities use the cars for their programs and you claim more in that case, but you need to do legwork to be sure.
I would field offers from both Carmax and Carvana if possible.
to whomever you want to acquire the vehicle from as they are incented to move new stock of cars. But I would do the math against the dealer, carmax, and carvana.

Like they needed one more thing.
bodies you stashed in them too or just the cars?
"1877 Kars for Kids" song is now stuck in my head.
Donate your car today, ugh
Triples is best. Triples is safe.
trading the cars into a dealer unless you are willing to play a lot of games and know exactly what you need. Dealers will always try to take advantage and wear you down.
Carvana and Carmax are the best solutions. Carvana will come to your house with a flat bed and a check. Carmax, you need to bring the car to them. It takes 10 minutes to get a quote online. I'd recommend starting with those two sites.
Incredibly simple to trade in or just sell. I'm not sure if you can trade in more than one vehicle but I don't see why not...
It took me 20 minutes to find the car I liked and then complete the trade in. The car was delivered to me and the old one picked up within 10 days. So much better than sitting and haggling in a dealership for hours.
online estimates, so I would go that route. Trading them in will lead to the dealer baking in the trade in values into the new car price. You almost always lose out on a trade in, especially with cars that old.
I had a fantastic experience selling my car with them. It was an extremely simple process and got far more than any other third-party of dealership...
