  One of my biggest criticisms of this class is the requirement of her for-profit textbook. Not once will you read this book for content, but instead rip out pages that have legal documents on them, to reference on tests. She reads off her slides. Most the time is friendly, but can be snippy. Two group projects, two exams. Easy B, must work for an A.

  Picky grader. Will mark points off and not tell you why even though you follow her instructions/criteria. She's a nice professor but if you want to save your grade, don't take her.

  I found every lecture to be very interesting, and I love how she engages with the class and make every lecture engaging and fun. She does require a book that we work off of. Attend the lectures, study, and you should be good to get an A. Also, there was extra credit that helped.

  My favorite professor at CSULB. I learned a lot from Professor Butler that applies to my everyday life at work. There were a good amount of extra credit opportunities that helped. IF you attend the lectures, and study for the exams - you will do fine.

  Haven't finished the class yet but she is always enforcing some rules or demanding students not to do something. Way to much content for a simple upper-division class about ethics. Would like to simply learn about ethics rather than worry about memorizing laws or worry about the massive amount of content for the exams.

  Save yourself, sticker for rules. Gives you 1000 things to study and does not guide you. Mad annoying assignments, more of a law class not ethics. Better off with another professor

  She's a nice person but I didn't like her class. It was more like a law class than an ethics class. She canceled class many times which I liked but her powerpoints have so much info on them that it's hard to understand sometimes. Wish she gave out a study guide like other professors bc there's only a midterm & a final. EC wasn't that helpful tbh.

  Marks u off for grammar but all her powerpoints have grammar mistakes it's actually ridiculous. Her quizzes were hard and she grades tough on assignments. If you miss an assignment ur out of luck bc they weigh 40% and there are only 10. Extra credit sucked bc they were all events u had to go to. This class just wasn't for me.

  Main thing that bothered me was her extra credit assignments, they felt unreasonable. For almost all extra credit you had to go to an event that was an hr long for only 2 points. It was always at the same time and I had a class during those event times so I never had the chance to go. It didn't seem accommodating at all.

  Not the best, but not the worst. She gets irritated easily but can be lax as well. She'll also make you buy her textbook and can be a knit picky grader, but offers plenty of extra credit. We were allowed to use the power points for the midterm and working in groups is optional. Overall not a hard class, but try not to miss turning in assignments

  Ok class. gives plenty EC. MT- open book. Final we had cheat sheet. Cons: mostly teaches law not ethics. (Shes a law prof) Some is related but mostly not, like we had to learn to read case citations etc. grades tough on wkly hw which was always vague/unclear. To sum up, was basically a law class, it was hard but the EC and open book made it doable.

  Class is an easy B, but need to work hard for an A. Dont like that we cant see our assignments, you only know what you got wrong if you go to office hours. Open book for midterm and she allowed cheat sheet for final. Lectures can get a little boring but she makes up for it with some videos and stories. Shes very kind and knowledgeable, take her.

  You have to work for an A and if you do all the extra credit opportunities it bumps up your grade by 5% at least. She is a bit confusing on what she wants, but she is willing to clarify and help. She can be a bit passive-aggressive at times, but if you can get past it, she's a decent professor. Guaranteed B, but you have to work for an A.

  DON'T TAKE!! textbook changes every semester forcing you to buy a $60 book you can't sell or use ever again, she makes her own textbook for-profit 80% and doesn't even use all the material in it. completely unorganized and grades very harshly with zero feedback and doesn't allow you to see your submission by locking it and hiding it afterward.

  Taking her right now, she reads off powerpoints which are boring but she's really funny and tries to make the class enjoyable. Lots of ec opportunities, group projects which are all easy. Two exams, our first one was open book and our final is closed book. She wants everyone to pass and is helpful.

  Instructions are not the clearest, but she's very helpful if you ask. Material is similar to BLAW and she makes lectures interesting for the most part. LOTS of extra credit. Lots of group work (easy). Exams are straight forward. Attendance not mandatory (imo, go when you can, but not detrimental to overall class grade)

  So far an ok class. All she teaches is law in our business ethics class. shes a law teacher so she prob uses her same info from her law class, but at least the test was open book. The test was hard. 82% average for open book test. again, it's mostly law. she likes to cancel class and then assign homework because we didnt have class, go figure.

  she's ok, not the best. for lectures she reads off slides so it's hard to pay attention. her ppts are also super disorganized & all over the place. grade's based on 10 hw, 1 group project, & 2 exams. midterm was hard since it was way 2 much content, but final is open notes. she gives a lot of ec opportunities & ends class early most of the time.
