  I liked the content of this course, and he is so sweet, caring, and lenient but I often felt bored during the lecture in class. I felt like he has monotone voice which made it hard to concentrate. Overall, a good and somewhat easy class and I would recommend him.

  He's a sweet old man! Just weekly quizzes, one group presentation, and a midterm and final that are short answer and given a week before due. He tries to make lecture funny with outdated memes which is endearing. He is sooo lenient on due dates. He literally does not care as long as you turn it in eventually. He's a genuinely good guy and prof.

  He is a great professor and deserves good reviews! Very approachable. First time teaching 378. Lenient with due dates; can turn in assignments a day late if needed. He has a monotone humor that makes his lectures entertaining. Class is all lecture but easy, he is really smart. Shares a lot of personal stories, including his dogs and showing photos!

  This professor teaches stats really well and I appreciate him adding memes to his slides. He understands that most people do not want to be in this class so he is very approachable and never condescending if you have any questions because it is a hard subject. He is the best option if you have to take stats!

  I took health psy 378 and even though he seems monotone/boring, he really does care and tries his best to make his lectures interesting with memes/dry humor. 10 very short quizzes, 1 individual project, 1 group presentation. responds to emails fast. very easy class and I would like to take him again for 400 level requirements!

  This is a heavy intense writing class that will make you cry. The instructions are difficult to follow so you can easily drop points from the assignments. He has long articles that are hard to understand which makes the class dreadful.

  Professor Rosenberg is a really nice guy who genuinely cares for his students. His lectures are honestly pretty long-winded and a bit confusing, but if you ask questions and read the textbook, you should be okay.

  Avoid. Doesn't bother to teach the course but instead assigns video recordings (some of which isn't even him talking) and doesn't post the Powerpoints so you can't even study. Tedious and inconvenient class that could have had so much potential.

  I thought of myself as a below-average math student prior to taking this course, however, in this class, I earned an A. From what I gather people at CSULB have a hard time with taking elementary stats, however, Prof. Rosenberg did an excellent job of teaching the material, and I actually understood what I was learning. Highly recommend! + hes nice!

  I took his Human Development stats and it was a good experience. He is very monotone and will easily put you to sleep, however, he tries his hardest to be more interesting. There is a weekly quiz and lab. Lab was difficult but he is there to help. Tests are easy if you understand the concepts. A big chunk of the class is an independent project.

  Attend all lectures to hear explanations in person. Very easygoing and understanding. Labs help to put what you learn into practice. Exams are easy if you study from the online quizzes. Final project also easy. Responds to emails quickly. Unlike some stats professors he does not make you do any unnecessary calculation that could be done online.

  Take his class for HDEV 190!! Its an easy pass. although his voice is very monotone and its very easy to sleep in class, he really cares for his students. Class consisted of 8 quizzes that's online, 8 Lab assignments, 8 in class participation, 3 50 point midterm and one final and a 100 point project.

  Although the course I took was half in class and half online I loved the history course I took with professor Rosenberg. I dont know why people say his lectures are boring! If you do the reading, and come to class prepared the slides add to the reading it helps you grasp the material better. He is actually funny, and he is a fair grader.

  This professor is easy, you just have to do the work that's it. Weekly reading response questions based on the scientific articles. Two midterms and a final, the midterms are take home. Then a final paper on your selected psychologist to do it on. He is very monotone, and the lectures are boring. DO NOT offer extra credit.

  DEFINITELY AGREE WITH THE PERSON BELOW! I only went to lecture twice because it was absolutely POINTLESS to go to class. His voice makes you so sleepy and he doesn't teach well at all. Everything you need is online and the work is doable, but this class is definitely a pain in the butt and I would NOT recommend him or his class whatsoever.

  I would not take him again. When a prof walks in and says he doesn't care to learn your name, you know it's a joke. Less than 10 out of 45 people show up to class. His lectures are so dreadfully boring and his grading criteria is unclear. It's all written assignments, if you're into that. It's more philosophy than history. No point in showing up.

  He has powerpoint slides that come from the book. You also have journal articles that you need to do reading responses for. The 3 exams where tough but not impossible. Last day of class was open for extra credit. Just rember this is a history of pscyhology class. He really is more intersted in you learning the history.

  Professor Rosenberg is the best statistics teacher ever!!!!!! I am always scared to take any kind of math class but this Research Methods class actually made me feel like I understood what I was learning. The lectures are filled with funny memes and use statistics that relate to students interests. So happy I took this class.
