*CAFF 427- Took this class for writing intensive credit. A discussion board and chapter review questions are due every week. A couple of papers, but as long as you follow the instructions carefully, you should be fine. The class overall is doable as long as you read announcements, read the textbook, and read all instructions.

Extremely harsh grader and very nitpicky about formatting. Late work is heavily penalized and no makeups are allowed for any reason. Large batches of assignments all due at once. Does not explain non-standard format of papers ahead of time. Do not take for a GWAR requirement, only consider this professor if you are in her major. Online textbook.

Incredibly unhelpful. Snarky responses and lack of empathy to questions or concerns. Lots of busy work and makes things due all at once. Don't take this class. She is unsuited for teaching and not helpful whatsoever.

I took her asynchronous section of CAFF 425. I thought it was easy, but she gave out a good amount of busy work. Lecture videos give you a step by step tutorial on how to do her homework. Offers a lot of easy extra credit. Grades assignments and responds to emails very quickly. One group project but you can do it yourself. Tests on quizlet.

exactly what that previous person said vvvvvv Shes extra and every point counts :( does offer extra credit and there are also in class assignments here and there . textbook can be found free online if needed. Her exams are lockdown browser (no camera on but tabs locked) .. answers on quizlet

Grades harshly. Knocks off points for every little thing. You have to attend lecture because there is an in class quiz at the end. Assignments every week and the tests are all on Google. She's not very nice and wants you to be a perfectionist and know everything. Barely even goes over assignments, expects you to know how to do it on your own.

She is a very hard grader. She will knock off points for any little thing. She expects you to know about finance if not she will make you feel stupid. Other than that her quizzes are easy to look up on google. Group projects during a pandemic was extremely hard to keep up with. We gave her feedback and she did not to it. Other than that good luck!

She is a TOUGH grader, have to do everything she says to a TEE or she will knock off points, and it adds up so I'm not sure if I will get an A like I hope this semester. Exams are EASY to Google, but the finance homework is challenging. Many weekly discussions, chapter notes, & random projects. She gives some extra credit though.

Maybe it was because our class was alone but she made grading difficult when the criteria weren't clear. one project and a different partner for each part of the project. She was a tough grader even though I'd do the same thing every assignment. Also every project, quiz, due at the same time. I felt overwhelmed. I wouldn't take her again.

I was expecting this class was supposed to be an easy A since the work was not hard as a non caff major. ButShe always gave me -1 or more on multiple assignments, leading me to a B. I cant read her mind, I did not know the small thing I missed was important to write about. Tax project #2 was the only thing that was hard and my group was not helpful

Very thankful I took this class. This class was straight to the point with no unnecessary work. This had a very manageable workload, and I recommend this class to anyone who wants to get their feet wet with understanding personal finances. Sometimes what she was looking for was very specific (regarding the math especially), but great otherwise! :)

She was super helpful and is very straightforward on what she expects. Let us out of class early various times because she goes through the material quickly and thoroughly. She really wants to teach you to be financially savvy, I would recommend her even if you aren't a CAFF major.

There are a few easy projects, 1 paper, and quizzes which are due Fridays. The financial statement project was a bit more difficult but she really helped the class and gave good feedback, just ask. You have to attend class in order to receive credit. Professor was very helpful and wrote emails every week to remind students what was due.
