You will enjoy the class as it has so much to learn, and she makes it so you have no hw but you will have a midterm essay, a research paper, and mcq as your final, and that is what makes up your total grade. She does offer extra credit that does help boost your grade a lot. Grading wise was mostly done by her TA who was very strict.

Has nothing on slides and just talks off of her notes/memory but talks so fast you can't retain anything. She says so many things as if we know what they are but most students were always confused and missing info because she goes so fast. Most of the time I was completely lost in this class, it was extremely frustrating. I wouldn't recommend.

Professor Meyer is a great teacher! Her lectures were entertaining and interesting! She is very understanding and very approachable! The class is not very test heavy and if you study the powerpts she provides you'll be fine!

Professor Meyer is very fun! Every class period is just lectures, but the professor makes them interesting! I really wish that she recorded the lectures because her powerpoints share the bare minimum (meaning you have to pay attention to everything she says). You attend an office meeting for 10 points, have a midterm, research paper, and final.

Only things graded were midterm essay, research paper, & multiple choice final exam. Final was made up entirely of her lecture slides. Gave us midterm questions ahead of time. Research was our own choice. I'd recommend typing her lecture notes because she gives A LOT of info. Overall she's an amazing person that cares about students' mental health.

Review part 2: She tries to keep her class assignments to a minimum for us to worry about our other classes. She understands that mental health is important and reminds her students to take breaks from school work to help manage our stress load. I have to say this because no other professor I've taken cared for their students to this degree.

Review part 1: Her class is pretty easy. She is very laidback. Sometimes she can get too carried away with conversations that can get off topic and wastes class time. There's one research project, 1 essay midterm, and 1 MC final. Her tests are not proctored and everything is open note. She understands learning during the pandemic is tough.

The class consists of a timed essay midterm, a 4 page research paper, a final exam with 64 q's, and you're graded on attendance which is worth 20 points. She talks fast during lec, your hand will be aching when done. The research paper is stressful and she cheers you on but does not actually give advice. Make sure you do great on MT and RP.

It's an easy class, but class time isn't always used 100% effectively, I'd say the first 30 minutes of class are off-topic. It's not that big of a deal though. No busywork, just a written midterm (in class, 20 prompts given ahead of time, you'll be given 2, and you write about 1), 4 page final paper (topic is your choice), and multiple choice exam

Her Greek Myth class was pretty easy. She lectures on everything you need to know and is pretty funny. She is easy to learn from and very approachable. There are some assigned readings but you can easily get away without doing them. We had one midterm which was an in-class essay, and one 4 page essay. The final will be multiple choice. Shes great!
